Pre-season training for the Metros continues at Broadheath Primary School on Thursday evenings starting at 6:00.
The squad has grown over the last few weeks with some promising new talent added - but new recruits are still welcome to come and train with the team and join their effort to improve on last season's 7th place.
Despite the absence of a couple of regulars it was gGreat to see 13 down at training last night - in weather more appropriate to November than June!
There are still a couple of squad places up for grabs so potential new players are still welcome to come down and train with the team - bring your boots, a drink and ask for Chris!
Apologies to all - Luke will miss training on Thursday - some sort of parent & child open evening at school.

PS - I have a few spare tickets left for the "gig of the century" (outselling Led Zeppelin at present!) at Kersal Rugby Club, Timperley on 29th September - let me know on Sunday if you are interested!
