To all of you out there that subscribe to the philosophy that winning is the be all and end all I would invite you to come along and watch a Dragons match one occasion.
Although firmly proppping up Div 1, the league table, which is only a set of numbers if truth be told, goes no where to truly reflect the success of our season to date. Team spirit, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, fair play, commitment, dedication and enjoyment: these are only a few of the adjectives bestowed upon the boys by opposing managers and parents.
Yes a win would be nice and despite certain scorelines, we have come close, yet the Dragons play with such incredible dignity and humility that it often renders me speechless.
Proud is not the word fellas.
