Falcons 5 v Broadheath A 0

The Falcons turned in one of their best performances of the season against local rivals, Broadheath, and were rewarded with a superb 5-0 victory.

Although this was a convincing win for the Timperley side, the final scoreline was somewhat harsh on a skillful Broadheath team who passed the ball well but failed to find any cutting edge in front of goal.

For the record the goalscorers were George (2), Ashley (2) and Travis but the foundations for victory were laid in midfield with tireless performances from James, Neil, Mason and Dan who dominated their Broadheath counterparts with boundless energy, hard tackling and pin-point passing.

A well deserved clean-sheet was the icing on the cake, with all defenders performing strongly against a lively Broadheath frontline - special mention goes to Sam who was the Falcons "man of the match" of this occasion and Danny who saw little of the ball but still made 2 or 3 three fantastic saves when called into action.

The Falcons next match is on Tuesday evening against the Eagles.
