With 14 of the squad available it was always going to prove a useful excercise and so it proved. Sale started off brightly before the Eagles excerted their grip on the game and played some good football to take a 3-0 lead into the break. In the 2nd period, Sale scored an early goal, before the Eagles scored again to make it 4-1. The game flowed freely, well reffed by Gary Ham and enjoyed by a good crowd. Attackers were on top in the match and the game finished 6-3 to the Eagles with Sale scoring their 3rd at the end of the game. Dino got 4 & Louis 2. The whole team played well, a few players were tried in different positions and the Eagles coaches, players & parents went away happy. Thanks to Sale for accomodating us this morning.
