There seems a littl bit of antagonism towards the way the Dragons were picked and the fairness of it. I think Jason and I need to get a few things straight.
We picked our own sons (common sense really)
we picked players who had been working with me at another club and had followed me down to Unicorns (3 players)
We picked two outside players one of whom's first sport in rugby and is struggling with football.
We picked one player who had been with us from the start.

That was the 8 players chosen. There was no malice, no intention to alienate players or more importantly parents. We did not mean to upset balences on school playgrounds but to be fair that was not our first concern.
Jason and I had put a lot of time and effort into running the Reception/ Year 1 and then year 2 with some success as the group grew, we now have enough for three teams and the same situation has developed again, it maybe handled differently but we did what was best for us as we don't get paid and from several parents never got thanked for what we had achieved.
We not only arrange matches for our own team but as my recollecting goes we have arranged every match the others play as well.
There is no A and B team, kids are kids we can not stop them baiting each other and we have been in constant touch with Ashley who is working very hard to try to please everyone.

If you can't improve on the silence you should say nothing
