We aim to raise £1000, and that means selling over 200 tickets - the band and DJ are working for free so nearly every penny of the ticket price will go to Brentwood.

Posted - 05/02/2008 : 09:25:33 The Fall eh? Who was that member? There have been a good few changes in Mark E Smith's line ups over the years!
I will see if any Eagles/Jets/Rockets parents would like to go to the gig ..... the more the merrier? |

Posted - 04/02/2008 : 23:33:34 The doors/bar will open at 7:30.
We will probably play two 35- 40 minute sets - one at 9:00ish and a second about 10:00ish. I think the bar shuts at 12:30.
I watched the same programme but was less surprised to see no mention - although pre-Madchester music fans may recognise at least one member of XL5 from his days with The Fall!
I am hoping to have some proper publicity material available very shortly.
Four tickets for £20 and a tenner for a taxi home - and its all in a good cause!

Sounds good. What time does it start?
I saw the documentary on Factory Records and the fondly remembered 'Madchester' scene the other night - no mention of XL5 ??? Fully expecting to see them mentioned ......
