Congratulations to the boys for an outstanding performance this morning in a friendly against Brooklands Dragons U10/U9. It was a tough hour with only 7 players but the boys showed that against older players they are still able to compete.
The match was played on a great surface on a dry morning. Some of the touches and movement shown by the Sambas was first class.
Well done to Callum Walker, Billy Nixon, Marcus Allison, Charlie Boulton, Joe Cronshaw, Sam Smith and Joe Conway.
1-0 Sam Smith 3 mins - great left footer.
2-0 Joe Conway 27 mins - fantastic back post header from a Charlie B. corner
3-0 Callum Walker - broke into the box and put it away with his right foot!
3-1 a goal back on 56 mins.
4-1 Marcus Allison 59 mins - direct from a corner with a slight deflection.
