Following on from the Eagles (Vipers) win in the flixton tournament win last week, the Unicorn Eagles (Cobras) this time won the Deans Tournament on Sunday. The Cobras and Vipers did not lose any of the 9 group games each of them played, until they met each other in the quarter final. The Cobras won a great game 1-0. The Vipers players then stayed to cheer on their team mates through a semi-final win against Fleetwood JFC (on pens), and then watched them win the final against South Manchester 2-0 courtesy of goals from Dino & charlie.
Willie won the player of the final award.
Joel, kindly guesting from the Falcons, won the Vipers player of the tournament medal while Mike won the award for the Cobras.
Thanks to ALL the players, parents and brothers & sisters who endured the inclement weather on the day. Thanks to our friends atDeans for another superbly well run day.
