The Unicorn tournament was held over the weekend of the 28th & 29th July and broke all records! A magnificent net profit of just under £5000 was made for the club this year. The event, held in excellent weather went without a hitch due to the smooth running and brilliant organisation of the event by the club and volunteers.
Darren Hatchell, who again this year organised the team entries and fixtures, has already received several notes of thanks from teams that entered and enjoyed the fun & footy. Teams such as Reddish Vulcans under 7s picked up supers medallions and trophies for winning their respective age groups and everyone went home happy!
Many thanks must go to all the club officials (too numerous too mention!) and volunteers who mucked in over the weekend to make our tournament the 'friendly' tournament! Fantastic effort ...... well done!!!!!
