EAGLES 7 BENCHILL CELTIC 2 - Weds 5th Sept
The Eagles went into their final friendly with Louis, Mike & Andy Slater not available. Benchill came out of the blocks in a positive manner, and took an early lead with an effort that just evaded Willie. An unfortunate own goal gave Celtic a 0-2 advantage shortly after and this signalled the start of the game for the Eagles who took it as a sign to start playing! Goals from Dino (2), Shaun (2), Jack, Mark & Charlie ensured that the Eagles tourned in another good performance against a team I tip to do very well in division 2 this Season.
MOM Jack - won tackles, distributed the ball well and a good goal!
