The Eagles said farewell to Adam their goalie today against Sale but unfortunately the boys could not give him the winning send off he deserved. Dino opened the scoring for the Eagles but sale came back scoring 2 goals before Jo equalised to make it 2-2 at half time.
The Eagles started slowly in the 2nd period and sale prospered, scoring 3 goals to stun the Eagles. Jack pulled one back with a great strike but Sale deserved the points leaving the Eagles with much food for thought before next weeks game.
At the end a signed ball was presented to Adam from the lads. We wish Adam and his family all the best in the future. I believe they will be following the fortunes of the Eagles avidly from Arizona!
