UNICORN TIGERS 1 - 1 OSWALD ROAD
A cracking game which showed that The Tigers are back to their best. Before this match Oswald Road had only dropped two points all season and were in top spot. This showed in the opening minutes when OR dominated the game led by a lad who most of us on the touchline thought could be a girl. Either way he was a good player and scored the opener in the first few minutes. The game needed another comeback by the Tigers and they fought hard to get it from that point on. There were some very good performances by all the team and by the time James equalised with two minutes to go OR were on the ropes.
Let's hope that they can carry on with this when they meet again this Saturday at Chorlton Park. I hope to make it to the game after spending Friday night in Wolverhampton for my brothers birthday.
Just one point for other parents to note: if you ever leave our great manager in charge of transporting your kiddies home just make sure he doesn't leave them behind!!
