As you may be aware my son Luke plays in goal for the U12 Metros team.

For the last year Luke has been going to a specialist goalkeeper coaching session held in Sale on a Saturday.

I can't recommend this training too highly - it concentrates on handling, agility, positioning and fitness and, in my opinion, has helped to improve Luke's keeping.

I'm not connected in any way (nor on commission!) but if anyone is interested send me a PM or email me at smallwoods@ntlworld.com for more details.

Rob

They also provide an online voucher on their website for a free session. What time are the sessions on Saturdays? I thought they were on Sunday mornings?

There are sessions all over the country - but Luke's is Saturday early afternoon in Sale, and I really can't recommend the sessions highly enough.

I think the first session is indeed free, and I doubt anyone would try one and not want to go again!
