It was a feast of highly entertaining and top quality under 9's football at the Willows this morning.
All 3 semi-finals were of the highest standard and all were exciting affairs with close results in all matches.
The Asteriods beat Roundthorn Rangers 4-3 in the div 5 semi, the Rockets lost by the odd goal 2-1 to Oswald Road in the div 4 semi, and the Comets lost by the same score to Broadheath in the div 1 semi.
All the players deserve massive praise - they were a credit to their parents & managers and flew the Unicorn flag with great pride.
The Asteroids will join the div 2 Jets at finals day to be held at Trafford FC on 18th May. The Jets will play Old Stretfordians in their final, who beat Communities United after a penalty shootout was required to seperate the teams after it finished 1-1 AET.
