WOW!!! 4 - 1 to the Eagles!
What a win for the Eagles against Heygarth United from the Wirral in the Cheshire county cup. The team were superb in all departments - comfortable on the ball, intelligent in attack and miserly in defence. Goals from Mark (2), Hussain and Ben sealed a comfortable victory with the Heygarth goal coming from a second half penalty. An all round great team performance wit the MOM jelly beans going to Mark, who just pipped Mike to the accolade.
Heygarth played their part in a cracking cup tie and we wish them and their management team all the best for the rest of the season.
