Deans Sports 7 Eagles 1 - Sun 11th Oct
A bad day at the Eagles office with a splendid Deans team making the most of an off day from the lads. Maybe it was the early kick off in Salford but the Eagles started slowly giving Deans the opportunity to deliver 2 quick blows in the first five minutes. The Eagles never got into any real rhythmn, and were 5-0 dowm as the half time whistle blew.
The second half performance was better, with Andy S pulling a goal back but Deans scored another 2 and the game finisihed 7-1.
A great performance from Deans - by far their best form in ages according to their manager - but a below par game from the Eagles. Every team has an off day though, and the boys will hope to bounce back strongly against Broadheath next week.
